With products in nearly every American household and restaurant, Libbey was in need of a packaging refresh to elevate the brand and engage a new generation of entertainers.

 

Libbey is the top glassware manufacturer in America and one of the largest tabletop suppliers in the world. After a number of successful partnerships, Libbey again approached Array with a repackage challenge.

Delicious Photography and A Fresh Color Palette Is Hard To Resist

CHALLENGE: With a prestigious heritage of quality products and fashionable tabletop designs, Libbey has earned placement in nearly every retail channel including mass retail, speciality retail, food & drug and department stores. However, over time the packaging had become dated and uninspiring. Libbey was in need of a new packaging strategy to elevate the brand and to present their quality products in a new light.

 

SOLUTION: Everyone eats with their eyes first, the Array Creative Process identified trends in photography and color design to “set the table” for success. Array revamped Libbey’s packaging with fresh colors and understated graphic details. A modern and bright photoshoot, with inspirational food & beverage, took the collection to the next level and created a new position of entertaining at home in style. In the end, Array redesigned dozens of packages and provided Libbey with a solid foundation for success at retail.

Array revamped Libbey’s packaging with fresh colors and understated graphic details. A modern and bright photoshoot took the collection to the next level, with the intention of inspiring people to entertain at home in style. 

 

Libbey’s new packaging from Array lead to a highly sought after brand. The vibrant photography breathed new life into the brand and Array snagged a 2017 GDUSA Award for the work.
