Understanding you

In steps one, two and three, Array engages the client in a candid conversation regarding macro vision of brand aspirations and the micro objective of the task at hand. The goal is to develop a deep understanding of the brand’s strategic advantage, opportunities for improvement and project objectives. Open dialogue will allow for Array to fully understand the project scope and provide an accurate proposal for services.

Once there is a deep understanding of the project objectives and budget, we enter into step four: exploration. Array works with our proprietary Project Launch Document (PLD) to begin the process. Through a series of customized questions, PLD gathers information from both internal and external sources. The PLD is designed to discover perceptions of the brand/project and to identify any conflicts or inconsistencies among the project stakeholders.

Armed with information provided by the PLD, and continuing through step #4, Array conducts store audits and other research tactics to discover trends in packaging, point of purchase communication, and competitive positioning in the marketplace. The end result is a written Creative Brief that provides a platform for execution. The goal is to provide concise direction for creative execution that will be substantially close to the mark on the first pass.


Making the magic happen

In the final steps of the Array Process (#5-#8), the designers are fully equipped with the information to succeed. Array executes on a strategy provided by the creative brief. The goal is to present design solutions that range from ‘safe’ to outside of the creative boundaries. Client feedback is organized and documented in great detail for all to review. The end result is a creative solution that is purposeful, visually stimulating and a highly effective sales tool.
